From my S/S2022 and S/S2023 slow fashion collections!

The Eleonora dress is a romantic summer dress inspired by vintage chemise dresses, but with a modern take that makes it more suitable for everyday wear. The dress is adjustable due to the tie channel at the waist. The design can easily be hacked into many different silhouettes. The Eleonora features gathered puff raglan sleeves with elasticated cuffs with ruffles. The gathered midi skirt is made out of four panels and are finished with a deep hem. View A-C: The neckline has ruffles and a channel that is adjustable with a tie, just like the waist. View B: The bodice has an elastic under the bust. View C: The bodice is cinched in with rows of elastic threads above the waistline.

Size range: European sizes 34-50, UK 6-22, US 2-22.

Sewing difficulty: The pattern is suitable for intermediate sewists.

Fabric suggestions: Choose a lightweight woven fabric such as cotton lawn, cotton voilé, viscose, tencel, silk. The production S/S2023 dresses are made in a lightweight crinkled cotton.

Fabric usage: Around 4.9-5.5 meter.

The Ophelia dress is a romantic dress with whimsical sleeves. The fitted bodice has dropped shoulders and open darts in the front and regular darts at the back. The midi skirt is gathered at the waist and has hidden inseam pockets. A dramatic wide hem finishes the skirt. Sleeves are inspired by the 19th century and has gathers, flounces and are finished with bias binding. The Ophelia dress has a rounded neckline. The dress closes with a concealed zipper in the back.

Size range: European sizes 34-50, UK 6-22, US 2-22.

Sewing difficulty: The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners. You should be able to sew bias binding for the neckline and the sleeves. You should be able to attach an concealed zipper. The pockets are optional.

Fabric suggestions: Choose a woven fabric with structure such as cotton, cotton lawn, linen, linen/viscose blend, linen/cotton blend, cotton/viscose blend. Try intricate fabrics such as organza, lace, fil coupé, embroidery or brocade for a special occasion dress. A drapier fabric such as viscose will give the dress less volume.

The Juliette dress is a romantic peasant dress with bishop sleeves and a gathered long skirt. The neckline has an elastic channel and can be worn both of and on the shoulders for different looks. The gathered bishop sleeves has elastic cuffs. The pleats at the waist creates volume over the bodice and the skirt. The waist has a stitched down self tie belt for a fitted silhouette. The dress closes with a button placket at the center front.

Size range: European sizes 34-48, UK 6-20, US 2-20.

Sewing difficulty: The pattern is suitable for intermediate sewists. You should be able to sew a bias binding channel for the elastic around the neckline, a button placket with button holes, pleats and a self tie belt for the waist.

Fabric suggestions: Choose a lightweight fabric with structure such as cotton, linen, cotton, linen/viscose blend, linen/cotton blend, cotton/viscose blend. A softer and drapery fabric will give you less volume.

A call out for sewing pattern testers for the Clara dress. The pattern testing period is 2 weeks and will take place 8th of August to 22th of August.

The Clara dress was designed with inspiration from Victorian chemise dresses but with a modern twist. Clara features 3/4 length dramatic puff sleeves with elastic cuffs. The bodice has two rows of elastic that adjusts to your underbust and waist. The skirt is A-line shaped and has hidden side seam pockets. Clara is reversible, one neckline is higher than the other; wear the lower neckline in front or in the back.

Size range: European sizes 34-50.

Sewing difficulty: Beginner friendly. No zipper, the dress uses elastic. The side seam pockets are optional. This is a quick and fun make!

Fabric suggestions: Cotton, linen. Production pieces were made in an organic cotton that is not sheer.

Fabric usage: Approximately 3.5-4 meter.

The Cora top is a spaghetti strap camisole. It has a deep flattering neckline and delicate spaghetti straps, also known as rouleau straps, that can be tied different ways. The gathers are adjustable due to the channels and the ties. The top closes with ties in the back and a concealed zipper.

Size range: European sizes 34-46. 



Sewing difficulty: Intermediate. You need to be able to handle slippery fabric such as rayon and make your own rouleau straps (or purchase ready made).

Fabric suggestions: Lightweight drapey fabrics such as viscose, rayon, tencel, silk.



Fabric usage: 1 meter.

The Mina dress is a simple and classic wrap dress. A comfortable wardrobe staple that can be worn casually with flats, or dressed up just as easily. Mina features gathered bishop sleeves and a dropped shoulder. The bodice closes with a wrap tie front that can be tied three different ways. The skirt is flared and has hidden side seam pockets. The tie belt makes the waist adjustable.

Size range: European sizes 34-46.

Sewing difficulty: Beginner - Intermediate. You need to be able to handle slippery fabric such as rayon, make your own bias band and sew bias bindings.

Fabric suggestions: Drapey fabrics such as viscose, rayon, tencel, silk.
