My first vintage inspired dress is called Edith. She has the silhouette of my favorite period in time; late 1930s to early 1940s.

Edith features full length puff sleeves, shirring on the shoulders and a rounded neckline. The bodice closes with a row of 1930s inspired matching buttons. The skirt is flared and perfect for dancing. A self tie belt makes the waist adjustable and could be tied in front or back. Dress closes with a hidden side zipper.

Organic production and made to order
Edith is made in an exclusive burgundy colored tencel fabric with ivory flowers. Tencel is a natural fiber and very similar to "cold rayon" in touch and appearance; a commonly used fabric during the 1930s/40s. Tencel is environmental sustainable, eco-friendly and made out of spun wood pulp. The fabric for Edith is produced in Europe especially for Silversaga. The small ditsy floral print makes me think of 1930s/40s day dresses and the floral buttons were picked carefully to match!

Being made out of natural fibers, Edith is lightweight and breathable and will last you a life time. My goal was to make a dress that could be handed down to future generations, just like vintage garments.

Garment care
Hand wash and cold dry, or use a gentle machine wash program.

Measurements for the Edith dress
Anna-Clara is a size 36, Small, and wears size 36. Please know that this dress is drafted with wearing ease similar to 1930s/40s garments and meant to be blousy. The tie belt will chinch in your waist. The most important measurement is the bust. I recommend comparing the measurements to your favorite garment.
