ODETTE DRESS

Odette is a sister to Odile, with shirring at the waistline instead of elastic. Odette is a modern take of the 1800’s Chemise à la Reine. I wanted a romantic underwear-style dress for the everyday life. She is the perfect, simple summer dress.

Odette features 3/4 sleeves with elastic cuffs. The waist has rows of elastic shirring making it adjustable. The skirt is A-line shaped and has hidden side seam pockets. The under bust and neckline has adjustable ties. I designed Odette to be worn reversible. Have the ties in the back or front and have two different kind of dresses.

Natural fibers and made to order
Odette is made in a beautiful dusty pink floral cotton from Europe. The fabric is middleweight, heavier and higher quality than most cotton in ready-to-wear clothes. The fabric is opaque. No slip or special underwear are required.

Garment care
Hand wash and cold dry, or use a gentle machine wash program. If possible, lay flat to dry. Taking care of your garment will make it last longer.

Size and fit
Model is 5'5, size 34 or X-small and wears a size 34. Because of the elastic, the dress is adjustable and fit many different body shapes. This dress was designed to be worn on the shoulders, but it can also be worn off the shoulders.
