Today is cold outside but in my mind it is almost spring. Celebrating with my new vintage dress.

Spring blush, New York by Face
Hello. I hope you all are feeling well.
I have had the flu the last days. But then I also had the time to finish this vintage dress (that was too big), watch movies, rest and dream about spring.
And yes, I also managed to get out and buy some old flowered teacups. The best way to get better, I am sure.
Last weekend I was invited to Tygverket’s workshop ”Making a circle skirt”.
I am so happy with the result. I have wanted a simple black wool skirt with high waist for quite some time now.
Amanda was so amazing and helped me learn how to make one. It was very easy!

This is how I looked yesterday, I had such a wonderful evening. Many handsome men in uniforms and sailor girls.
My plan was to finish my sailor dress and make a red wool hat, but I never had the time to make it. This is how it all ended up!

Tonight I’m going to Duty Calls by Fröken Frauke, a WWII inspired night with cabaret burlesque and swing dance.
I have been looking for a vintage uniform but did not find anything, so I will try to finish this remade sailor dress and also buy some more fabric and make a small hat.
Hello, I miss you!
I have been working with some exciting things: a fashion story for a new magazine and a cover shoot for an amazing artist. I’ll show you very soon.

I am wearing my new tba-dress today and waiting for you to never call.
Yes, I did go for the chocolate-color. My hair is still a little red also, so I’m very happy with the color.
